Champions of the Soil: Youngstar Cricket League Crowns Rural Talent in Morongi

Under the open skies of Purajanghal Playground in Morongi, Golaghat, the Nabaprayas Youngstar Cricket League (Under-20) concluded with high-voltage excitement and spirited sportsmanship.

Organized as part of our Sports for Development mission, the tournament brought together rural youth cricket teams to provide a platform for young players to showcase their athletic talent.

The championship fixture witnessed enthusiastic community attendance, with village elders, youth peers, and families turning out to cheer on the teams. The winning squad was awarded the coveted Champions trophy and prize honors.

Beyond the boundary ropes, the league provides a constructive, healthy platform that keeps young people physically active, builds lifelong discipline and camaraderie, and steers youth away from substance abuse.
